BIOGRAPHY

SUNHILL is a Swedish rock band from Borgholm, Öland, formed in 2015. The band consists of Henric Björkvall (bass), Jack Petersson (drums), Oscar Olofsson (guitar), and Simon Nygren (vocals/guitar). Known for their blend of raw energy, catchy melodies, and a mix of garage rock, 90s indie, grunge, and punk influences, SUNHILL’s sound is both gritty and melodic, with a ”less is more” philosophy that drives their music and live shows.

After releasing their debut EP What a Drag, recorded in Jack’s barn, the band moved to Gothenburg in 2016 to pursue their music further. Their bond, having known each other for most of their lives, has kept them tight-knit, even living together during the early years.

SUNHILL’s music is shaped by a diverse range of influences, with each member bringing their own unique tastes, but always focusing on capturing that raw, emotional feeling when a song hits the right spot. Their music continues to grow, balancing spontaneity with musicality, and they’ve earned a reputation for their energetic live performances and their commitment to making music that feels real.
