BIOGRAPHY
SILKE is the musical project of Lovisa Niclasson, a singer-songwriter from Ljungskile, Sweden. In the spring of 2022, she released the singles Water and Dust, Time Blends Us Together, and Like Me. Drawing inspiration from contraries such as vast mountain landscapes and the squealing sounds of trams, SILKE creates atmospheric soundscapes that blend electronic folk-pop with a melancholic edge. With a voice reminiscent of Kate Bush and a dreamy, mystical presence akin to Björk, SILKE captivates listeners with her unique blend of emotional depth and ethereal charm.
