BIOGRAPHY
Michaela Åberg (also in End of Fun) is a Gothenburg-based artist known for her unique blend of desert psych and gothic folk. Her latest album, Fire Let Me Through, takes the listener on a journey that begins with the reverence of a psalm, embarks on a drifting psychedelic rock odyssey, and ultimately rests in a haze of haunting organ melodies. Her songs revolve around untold stories of relationships — those moments without resolution, caught in the midst of emotions, and before any answers arrive.
In late 2020, Michaela began writing the music that would become her debut solo EP. Inspired by restless nights and sleepless hours, she crafted four tracks with a cinematic sharpness, paired with soft, ASMR-like vocals set against a driving, distorted wall of guitars and organs. With her sophomore album — and first LP under BlackValley Records — Michaela Åberg is poised to deepen her connection with listeners, transporting them on a hypnotic journey through the haunting space between psychedelic rock and death folk. Her evocative soundscapes continue to captivate, drawing audiences into a world of mesmerizing, otherworldly music.
